Responsibilities:

  • Provide Oversight and Training to all General Managers
  • Establish & Monitor Annual Capital and Operational Budgets
  • Act as Main Contact for Construction or Improvement Projects
  • Establish and Maintain Leadership and Practices that Promote a Remarkable Culture
  • Monitor CXI & Implement any Required Improvements
  • Protect Windy City- Fox Brand & Oversee Media/Branding Decisions & Budgets
  • Monitor Efficiency and Compliance with our DMS, CRM and other critical dealership Tools & Systems
  • Establish Goals & Strategy for Dealership Operations
  • Improve Market Share in Each Area in which we operate
  • Participate in Innovation Decisions
  • Establish & Monitor Initiatives & Roll-Outs of New Processes or Tools
  • Hold Semi-Annual 20 Group Meetings for Division with GMs & COO
  • Organize & Lead Best Practice Groups in Division
  • Work with Leadership to Establish and Enforce Policies and Procedures of the Organization
  • Act as Main Contact for all Manufacturer Relations & Attend OEM Required Meetings for Dealer
  • Assist COO in Completing Annual Operating Plan Objectives
  • Assist COO in Due Diligence of any Acquisitions
  • Oversee Operational Aspects of Acquisition Activities

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of GSM experience with responsibility for the entire variable operation of a successful dealership

  • Possess successful history of building and training a sales team, strong CSI scores and above average gross and net departmental profits

  • Strong background in building showroom and internet traffic, SEO and SEM, direct mail and other traditional media

  • Extensive background in leading a BDC department

  • Some experience in Used Vehicle purchasing, merchandising and marketing

  • Expertise in supervising the everyday efforts of desk managers and improving F/I income through mentorship and training
