Motorsport Games is a division of Motorsport Network; it is the home for a team that believes in the power of interactive virtual motor racing and putting people in control of their own motorsports story. We are the destination for the world’s major motorsport series and brands from NASCAR to Le Mans and Formula E. We operate along the entire vertical of development, publishing, and competitive esports ecosystem.
As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will join an experienced cross-discipline team working on AAA PC and console titles, where your expertise, enthusiasm, and attention to detail will help ensure our games are robust and polished on release.
Requirements
- Experience testing through the full software development cycle on multiple products
- Experience using bug-tracking software, preferably Jira
- Ability to write clear, thorough, and concise bug reports
- Ability to write and execute test plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with internal and external test teams
- A passion for playing video games, particularly racing games
- Experience using TestRail is highly desirable
- Experience working with video game consoles in a testing capacity is also highly advantageous
Responsibilities
- Act as a conduit between the local development team and overseas QA team
- Contribute to the writing and refinement of test plans and other documentation
- Work with the QA team to ensure builds are thoroughly tested and bugs recorded
- Provide reliable, clear and concise information on the current state of games in development
- Attain a thorough understanding of games in development and help to convey that understanding to the QA team
- Work with our Compliance team to ensure all our games meet platform holder guidelines
