Competition Clutch, Inc. (CCI) in Conyers, GA is currently accepting applications for a full time Purchasing and Planning Assistant. This position is entry level with phenomenal room for growth. You will be responsible for sourcing inventory, maintaining goods and services, managing vendors, and assisting with the planning in production for the warehouse.

Requirements of the job:
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies
- Create and maintain purchase orders through the ERP system
- Communicate directly with Domestic and International vendors
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve profit
- Maintain proper inventory levels for materials and supplies
- Work directly with management to fill the needs of production work orders
- Understand processes and systems of inventory flow within the organization
- Determine quantities of inventory needed and timing of delivery from vendors
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of inventory demand
- Work directly with freight companies and forwarders to ensure supplier shipments are processed timely and correctly
- Work directly with management to ease the flow of customer orders with production plans, incoming inventory, and review of warehouse tasks
Qualifications Needed:
- Associates degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration preferred
- Proven work experience as a purchasing agent or officer
- Ability to gather and analyze data
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Automotive enthusiast with a passion for motorsports and/or previous experience in the automotive parts industry is a major plus.
Hours are Mon-Fri from 8am-5pm. Starting pay is negotiable and based on experience. Paid holidays and vacation effective immediately. Medical benefits included after 90 days of employment. 401k program (with matching) available after 6 months of employment.
