Reports to: Director of Marketing

Job Description: The PM will be responsible for the delegation and oversight of projects within the Marketing Dept. This will be done with efficiency top of mind by focusing on improving workflow within the marketing team consistently, communicating and following up with key stakeholders, ensuring prompt completion of all initiatives, and helping keep the focus on the Vision & Mission of the organization. The perfect applicant will have previous PM experience, a start-up, fast-paced mentality, detailed knowledge and experience creating support systems for a growing team, an eye for detail, and the ability to work concurrently with any and all members of the DirtFish team to successfully complete initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Relay and delegate initiatives to the team as directed by the Director of Marketing
  • Monitor initiative progress and provide assistance as needed to meet deadlines
  • Track budget and maintain detailed reporting with accounting team on spending to ensure budget requirements are met
  • Measure project performance to increase efficiency for future initiatives
  • Work with support agencies, vendors, and partners for integration into applicable projects
  • Keep a consistent pulse on projects and adjust deadlines and deliverables if applicable to meet parameters
  • Consistently communicate updates as needed to appropriate team members

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge of Google Business Suite
  • Experience managing a creative, media-focused, marketing team in a start-up atmosphere
  • Knowledge of content production, social marketing & editorial workflows is a plus
  • Successful track record within the PM role
  • Ability to bring new process’ and procedure to the team to improve efficiency including automated tools
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to work independently or within a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent follow-up and ability to coordinate multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to handle stress and being under pressure in stride
  • Flexibility to travel to events and support the marketing team “on-the-ground” as needed.
