Programme Manager

For many fans of Formula One, the sport exists between lights and chequered flag on a Sunday afternoon. It begins and ends with the exploits of the drivers on the track. But this is merely the tip of the spear. The reality of modern F1 is that of a complex and intertwined operation, every part of which needs to perform near its limit if success is to be achieved. From the pit crew searching for the ultimate repeatable pit stop, to the inspiration of the designers, the application of engineers and the herculean efforts of an army of fabricators and machinists. Much of our success is thanks to the diversity of thought and spectrum of skill sets held within the team, our ability to recognise unique contributions from individual team members is just a part of why we love what we do.

Job Description

Red Bull Powertrains have an exciting opportunity to be a part of our expanding Power Unit engineering team. Our dynamic environment ensures that everyone can make a valuable contribution and we are looking for a Programme Manager within our Programme Management team to help deliver World Championship winning cars year on year.

Based from our Milton Keynes campus the roles will be responsible for supporting the supply and demand of all parts associated to the Powertrains BoM structure, ensuring the correct Part/assembly qty requirements are achieved, including customer supply, maintaining stock values for race, test and dyno events to the correct specification. Working closely and liaising between the engineering, supply chain and trackside departments, the roles will ensure that supply of components and assemblies is communicated and controlled to the highest standard, aligned with the Red Bull Technology counterparts, adopting similar standard operating procedures and KPIs.

Reporting to the Programme Management Team Leader, the successful Programme Manager applicants will have excellent planning, organisational and communication skills, extensive prior knowledge of BoM structure and parts management. Epicor/ERP business system knowledge and experience are a pre-requisite. The team you will be joining is fast paced in its nature and as such you should be able to work to tight deadlines whilst demonstrating a proactive approach.
