Based at the Shoreham Campus, Shoreham-by-Sea
We are seeking to appoint a Programme Lead in the Motorsport/Automotive department to deliver an exceptional student experience through the delivery of outstanding teaching, learning and assessment leading to positive achievement outcomes and progression on to higher levels of study, employment, or apprenticeships. You will be responsible for the coordination of a designated cluster of courses as required by the Curriculum Manager through a range of activities including Quality Assurance and Recruitment.
You will also be responsible for managing all aspects of the student journey, including student recruitment, tutorial and pastoral support, course induction, curriculum planning, teaching, learning and assessment, feedback to students, monitoring of student progress, management of student records, student achievement, and all associated course and quality related administration.
You will require an academic qualification at minimum Level 3 (ideally Level 5/6), or professional qualification equivalent in a relevant subject area, a relevant vocational qualification at level 3/4 and a recognised teaching qualification. You also require experience working within a motorsport/automotive environment and knowledge and understanding of curriculum organisation and administration within Further/Higher Education.
You will be able to teach automotive and motorsport workshop and theory classes with the ability to teach up to Level 3 vehicle electronics theory and ideally maths sessions up to Level 3.
