The Production Site Manager is in charge of the feasibility and design of automotive products and prototypes with the R&D unit manager. He/she manages a technical team of 30 to 40 people. He/she reports directly to the Business Unit Director.
Your main tasks :
- Define and implement the organisation of all production activities (Machining, Welding, Composites, Metrology)
- Ensure the monitoring of manufacturing by ensuring compliance with safety rules and production requirements (quantity, deadlines, quality, cost, etc.).
- Ensure the continuous improvement of processes and industrial tools
- Organise the activity of one or more teams of production operators.
- Supervise the proper functioning of the equipment (adjustments, maintenance, etc.) and the production tool in the broad sense (factory/workshops)
Your profile and responsibilities:
- You are a technician or engineer with 10 years of significant experience
- You are an experienced manager who knows how to federate and motivate all your teams around the company's industrial projects with a pragmatic approach (manage problems with diplomacy, train and inform about new techniques and tools).
- You have significant experience in managing a production site of a SME (expertise in machining and knowledge of composites is a plus) preferably in the Automotive Sport and/or Automotive mid-sized company
- You will be responsible for a human-scale production unit that supports the upstream (R&D) and downstream (Sales/Customer Relations) units
- You will be responsible for creating a constructive working relationship with each of these two units, placing customer satisfaction at the heart of the objectives and allowing a certain flexibility according to the needs and maturity of the projects in progress (study, prototype, series)
- You will regularly monitor new developments in terms of machines and production tools to continuously improve the productivity of the teams and the quality of the products
- You speak English and French ( essential)
