Production Planner / Scheduler

Integral e-Drive, the electric drive division of Integral Powertrain has an immediate opening for a Production Planner/Scheduler to join our rapidly expanding Purchasing and Materials team.

We are currently seeking a Production Planner / Scheduler to join our rapidly expanding Purchasing and Materials team to manage and maintain production schedules for live projects and create and maintain works orders. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Bills of Materials and Component Part set-ups are correctly created and configured
  • Maintain and analyse build planning data across live projects, ensuring production kits are assembled and issued to support production plans
  • Monitor kitting and stores picking priorities
  • Create and manage works order transactions and material movement transactions, liaising directly with key supply chain personnel
  • Ensure that works order pick lists are issued and prioritised
  • Report any production shortages to the Procurement Team so effective expediting can be undertaken

Person Specification

  • The candidate will have strong experience in a similar role within a fast-paced precision engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Capable of reading and understanding engineering drawings and possess a detailed understanding of BOM structures
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work, set targets and make decisions
  • Ability to work accurately and methodically under pressure
  • Sound IT knowledge and familiar with ERP / MRP operating systems
  • Initiative, with problem-solving skills, numerical and verbal reasoning
  • A high level of communication abilities, as the production planner is often the link between the shop floor and management
