PRODUCT/QUOTE ENGINEER

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to Product Engineer Manager, the Product/Quote Engineer is responsible for communicating with customers, working on application and designs, preparing quotes and technical reviews.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Supports Sales Effort:
- Works with customers on application and design of various types of springs and washers
- Prepares Quotes for customers
- Communicates with customers to follow up on quotes
- Assists customer service and communicates with customers to resolve complaints
Maintains and Manages the Engineering Data for Products:
- Maintains the Specifications in the Quality Database
- Maintenance of the Engineering Records, including the Master File and the ENG Drawing Document database.
- Performs or assists “Technical Review” as needed
- Periodically reviews work orders to insure accuracy
Supports Process Engineer:
- Works closely with Engineering to define, clarify and produce “special” products
- Works closely with Process Engineer to define and improve the manufacturing processes

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical or Industrial Engineering
