PRESS OFFICER / ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - Motorsport & Motorcycle

Reeves Public Relations are on the lookout for a talented Account Executive to join our dynamic and creative team.

Our drive and passion for the automotive industry has resulted in a recent team expansion. To support our ambitious growth plans as we enter our second decade of business, we are recruiting for a team player who will elevate our clients’ reputations in all the right ways.

Our automotive client base spans the worlds of racing cars, motorcycles and trucks. The successful candidate will have a passion for vehicles and a deep interest in the exciting revolution reshaping the automotive industry. We want someone who can build long-lasting relationships and become the core connection between us and our clients.

Our team is small, hard working, close-knit and extremely effective. The new recruit will become a vital cog with a wide range of responsibilities to keep them on their toes.

Primary responsibilities are:

  1. To understand the scope and context of the clients’ goals and implement public relations and social media programmes, with the support of the agency team, to deliver beyond those results.

  2. Be on the pulse of the clients’ markets and seek timely news opportunities to drive press coverage and content.

  3. Write attention-grabbing media material and brief agency colleagues on clients’ creative design requirements.

  4. Provide regular PR campaign reports and social media analysis for clients, whilst driving a process of continuous improvement at every opportunity.

Due to the nature of motorsport clients’ activities, the successful Account Executive will be expected to travel internationally and work weekends as a Press Officer and Content Creator. Therefore the ability to work independently, multi-task and demonstrate strong initiative and leadership skills are important qualities.

We are based in Birmingham, UK, but are open to discuss flexible working options, including home working, in order to facilitate a healthy work/life balance. Candidates should hold a full car or motorcycle licence.

Closing date January 18th 2019. All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
