Position Description

As Performance Calibrator, you are responsible for all activity in the dynanometer cell: ensuring safe vehicle setup & strap-down (e.g., proper strapping for specific vehicle type, no straps routing in path or proximity to wastegate dumptubes, taking proper precautions not to stress or damage vehicle's strapped-to components, etc.), performing test runs, performing calibrations on a variety of vehicles, utilizing a broad range of disparate engine management solutions and auxillary software & systems.

While this position's primary focus is calibration work, some mechanical work should be expected -- this work includes, but is not limited to: mechanical inspections (boost-leak testing, spark plug inspection & installation, etc.), basic wiring, sensor installation, and mechanical diagnostics.  You will be performing calibrations on customer vehicles for both tune-only appointments, as well as National Speed builds.

Our consultants bring in well-planned projects and you make them happen with full support of our operations & support staff.  Your focus as Performance Calibrator is to achieve the project goal (desired result within time available) while adhering to Company quality standards -- any tasks outside of this focus (customer communication, project scheduling, parts ordering, performance installations, custom fabrication, etc.) are carried out by other team members to fully support your work.

Comp package includes annual salary & performance-based bonuses, 100% healthcare for you and your family, relocation assistance, and significant annual performance bonus.  Work days are Tues-Sat from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, optional Mondays, with lunch provided daily by the Company.
