Parts Specialist Summary Description
Assists the PG&A Manager in all operations of the PG&A Department with a specialization in customer parts consulting.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
PG&A Department Operations
Ensure merchandising presentation and sales floor replenishment meet the needs of the PG&A Department. Making effective use of:
Wall Displays Window Displays
Show Cases Glass Cubes & Towers
Help regulate seasonal promotions (i.e. holiday display themes, special events, etc.) and coordinate them with other departments.
Provide input from customers, sales and service staff to PG&A Manager in order to help maintain sufficient quantities of stock to support demand and acceptable inventory turn ratio.
Assist sales staff as needed.
Become familiar and efficient with all phases of the computer system required for PG&A sales and inventory transactions.
Ensure front counter PG&A and all merchandise and displays clean, well dusted, and appealing to customers.
Assist in the set-up and maintain a smooth running, efficient, appealing retail environment.

Parts Specialist
Ensures PG&A department contributes acceptable levels of gross & net profit to overall dealership.
Develop strong customer relationships using consultative selling skills during new and used bike customer pathing.
High level of after sale follow up required using CRM system, customer history files and new and used wish lists developed during customer selling effort.

Communicate regularly with the PG&A sales staff regarding:

Product Style Options Product Features/Benefits
Create a positive work environment.
Attend training sessions to keep skill sets current with PG&A sales trends & inventory control issues.
Must meet and exceed defined budget for sales, lines per ticket, margin, and gross profit.
Willing to join a high performing PG&A team to ensure they reach their fullest potential and maximize departmental sales and profits.

Customer Service

Provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers.
Greet customers immediately, in a courteous and friendly manner.
Handle telephone transactions quickly, and courteously.
Point out any sales, specials, or new merchandise to staff and customers.
Handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate our commitment to Superior Customer Service.

Qualifications & Job Requirements
Minimum of 2 years parts experience.
Strong sales skills.
Experience in motorsports retail sales preferred.
Knowledge and technical experience with servicing of ATV's Motorcycles, and Side by Side vehicles and all products sold by the dealership.
Strong skills in customer resolution/satisfaction.

Physical Demands
Occasionally required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift up to 60 lb. of material.
Working Conditions
Normally indoors, however, some outdoor work is required during open houses or other events.
