Parts Department Assistant

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to assist in our busy computerised parts department.

The individual must be able to work under their own initiative and to a very high standard.

 

The role involves:

 

  • Unpacking of parts and equipment.

  • Preparing bespoke/ unique parts for shipment worldwide.

  • Processing parts for quality control & transferring orders.

  • Assisting in stock checking.

  • Assisting in general warehouse duties and maintain a neat working area.

  • Computerised recording of stock movements in and out of the department.

  • Organisation of carriers and shippers.

  • Applying for freight collections.

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

 

  • Good IT and verbal communication skills.

  • Have an excellent attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of commercial invoices/ customs requirements

  • Full clean driving licence.

  • Able to multi-task and work under their own initiative.

  • Have a can do attitude and flexible approach to working hours.

 

The ideal candidate would possess some knowledge on the latest Brexit legislation with regards to global freight movement and have experience with working with delivery/ collection teams.
