Parts and Office Administrator

Nicholson McLaren Engines have a full-time vacancy for an experienced Parts and Office Administrator to support their parts department and daily office functions for our engine build shop. The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in the motorsport or automotive industry, they will be conscientious and proactive, have a keen eye for detail and be comfortable working individually or as part of a small team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The role is predominately office based however there will be an element of driving required to visit clients or suppliers.

Key responsibilities of this position will include –

Stock Control – order planning, placing orders with suppliers, controlling stock inventory, controlling stock levels, picking & processing parts for in house projects, limited amount of retail sales.

Maintaining risk assessments and health and safety procedures.

You will also be required to support daily office functions that include - admin support, data processing, liaising with clients and suppliers via telephone / email.

Key requirements for this position include –

  • The candidate must have a flexible approach to work.

  • Numeric accuracy and attention to detail is paramount.

  • Computer Literacy with experience in Word, Excel & Parts/Component Software.

  • A good telephone manner is essential.

  • Hold a Full / Clean Driving License.

  • Have a can-do attitude.
