NVH Attribute Lead Engineer

You’ll be leading the NVH attribute integration to  meet subjective and objective targets for McLaren vehicle programs.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Leading benchmarking activities related to the program
  • Setting targets and deployment related to the program
  • Carrying out attribute integration trough the FGs with the help of VLM/Chief Engineer
  • Representing the NVH attribute during attribute team meeting and Drive Event related to the program.
  • Defining the DVP accordingly with the complicity of the programs and the timeline
  • Defining the BDG accordingly with the complicity of the programs and the timeline
  • Supporting function group engineers to ensure that new vehicles meet NVH targets within project budget and timescales
  • Delivering the NVH attribute on time, through simulation support and test analysis

Education:

Master of engineering mechanics or related field

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Good knowledge, with analytical approach on all the area of vehicle NVH attribute such as Road /Tyre noise, Primary and Secondary ride, Power-Train NVH, Sound Quality, S&R. Subjective NVH vehicle evaluation required. Computer skills: Must be able to use MS Office, ability to use related NVH Test engineering software such as LMS TestLab and analysis test data, including TPA, modal analysis, PCA. Good oral English and communication capability. Experience: More than 2 years direct OEM NVH experience in Automobile industry.
