Network Administrator

Summary

Road America is seeking an individual to fill a full time Network Administrator position. This individual would be responsible for all aspects of our IT Infrastructure, including servers, network, track, and application software and hardware.

 

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

The IT Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Microsoft Servers and PC’s, Network (WAN/LAN), Printers, VoIP phone system, POS System, Web site, Exchange Server, SQL Database. Identifies, tracks, manages, and resolves technology support issues.

 

Qualifications: 

Candidate must have 5+ years of experience in IT with day-to-day operations, network administration, customer management and supervision. Must have strong communication, organization, and project/time management skills. Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.  Must be willing to assist with various track audio productions, video distribution, and outdoor speaker system.

Experience with Hyper-V, Dynamics, and Digium Switchvox is a plus.  Knowledge of working with mixed vendor networks, HP, Cisco, and Ubiquity equipment.

 

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, squat, kneel, and climb.  The employee is subject to the outside environment conditions such as cold weather or extreme heat.  Also, subject to noise and fast-moving objects. Must have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. occasionally.

 

Hours:

Hours can be long and vary by week and event type. The candidate must be willing to workdays, nights and weekends to support events.
