Prodrive Advanced Technology is a performance engineering consultancy which delivers varied technical projects to different customers across a range of sectors, including; automotive, aerospace, military, research and development and marine. We accelerate understanding and take on challenges others shy away from.
We are looking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers to support our exciting current and up and coming projects. In this role you will be designing and developing mechanical systems from concept to production, working on some of the most challenging and interesting projects with the latest technologies.
Role and Experience:
- Proven experience of concept design and CAD packages, CATIA V5 preferred
- Completion of 3D CAD component models and 2D detail drawings of components
- Technical liaison with customers, suppliers and manufacturing
- Preparation of BOM’s and other project documents to fulfil project and process requirements
Our ideal candidate will have two years’ experience within a similar role and be educated to degree level within engineering. Experience within design of vehicle under body systems, such as; suspension systems, brakes, steering, transmission, driveline, and/or hybrid systems, or other complex mechanisms would be an advantage.
