Mechanic

A great opportunity has arisen for a versatile and hard working Number 1 Mechanic to join the MotorSport Vision team at Oulton Park.

Working within the Engineering department, you will help lead our team maintaining our fleet of BMW M4's, single seater race cars, 4x4's and Toyota GT86 to ensure we deliver market leading retail and corporate motor racing events.

To join us you will be versatile and hardworking, with pride and precision evident in everything you do.  You will have a proven track record within a fast paced workshop environment and will be able to meet agreed deadlines with confidence.

You will have a good grounding in general mechanical engineering and manufacturer training, ideally with a City and Guilds qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent qualification. You will have worked as part of either a main dealer team or in a busy independent garage taking a lead role. You will be able to work both autonomously and as part of a close-knit team.

You will be expected to help the team deliver exceptional promoted event days during the motorsport calendar year, which will include working weekends and helping out other departments to ensure the events are a success.

Experience or an interest in motorsport would be an advantage.
