Marketing Executive

An exciting opportunity has become available at Cirrus Research. We are looking for someone to support our marketing activity on a 12-month contract, starting in October.

As part of the Cirrus Research marketing team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects including social media marketing, direct mail marketing, email marketing, website development, the creation of product literature, public relations, and market growth and general lead generation. You'll be joining at an exciting time for the business as we are continuing to grow into new markets with industry-leading projects involving motorsport and the entertainment industry.

The salary for this role is between £18,000 and £24,000 per annum, dependent on experience. You'll also have access to a pension scheme, discounted gym membership and a monthly social club.

You'll be responsible for creating and designing content for all types of marketing media as well as general administrative tasks. As we have overseas offices, you will also have the chance to work on marketing materials for international markets, mainly France and Germany.

Your responsibilities:

  • Creating marketing content to support lead generation and brand awareness across multiple marketing media
  • Working with various channels including social media, websites, printed publications, traditional marketing campaigns, and events and exhibitions
  • Analysing the performance of marketing activity and making decisions on the efficacy of different campaigns and tactics
  • Reporting on the performance of marketing campaigns to internal stakeholders
  • Carrying out general administrative tasks commensurate with the role

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in writing and designing marketing materials
  • Experience of developing content for social media and managing social communities
  • An understanding of digital marketing and SEO techniques and how they can be used to drive traffic, conversion and engagement
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • An advanced level of IT literacy (experience of the Adobe creative suite is desirable, but not essential)
  • The ability to think creatively and independently
  • The ability to manage multi-task and manage several complex projects at once

The role is based at Cirrus' headquarters in Hunmnaby, North Yorkshire, which is between Filey and Bridlington and is easily commutable from Scarborough, Malton, Hull, York and Leeds.
