Manager, Track Marketing - West Region

NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Manager, Track Marketing – West Region based in our Phoenix Raceway location.

This position is responsible for participating in the development and execution of marketing campaigns designed to build awareness and drive attendance to track events in the West Region (Auto Club Speedway and Phoenix Raceway).

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Develop, plan and execute marketing campaign for West Region NASCAR races.
  • Concept and design marketing assets for creative needs promoting West Region events.
  • Write promotional copy for marketing & sales materials.
  • Develop creative briefs and submit requests; directly coordinate with cross-functional teams on all creative needs.
  • Lead marketing efforts for priority growth segments (youth, multicultural, etc.), both promotionally as well as with at-track activations.
  • Execute Local Market Activation program, including distributing assets in market and working with local partners in the community.
  • Develop local/grassroots marketing plans, to drive awareness, data collection and ticket sales for West Region events.
  • Oversee new fan development in local markets and build prospecting journeys.
  • Support email marketing team, including developing creative/copy, proofing, compiling, and distributing performance reports, etc.
  • Provide support to social/digital content team through routine website copy and function review.
  • Develop event shot lists and manage photography/videography team throughout race weekends.
  • Work in conjunction with other teams to brainstorm, plan and execute a comprehensive at-track fan experience strategy.
  • Lead the coordination and execution of promotional winners during the Auto Club Speedway and Phoenix Raceway race weekends.
  • Complete analysis and develop marketing campaign performance recaps to drive future planning.

Required skills / experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of current experience and/or training in motorsports / sports marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advance skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles
  • Exceptional team and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coordinate and deliver multiple projects at once within strict deadlines
  • Superior follow-through with a high-level of accountability
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to travel up to 15% including weekends
