Role Overview

Fisker Automotive is looking for a passionate Analyst, Logistics Administration, to join our growing team based in Munich, Germany. This exciting cross-functional position will give you the opportunity to work with departments throughout the global Fisker organization. Your projects will range from sustainable logistics, over vehicle tracking software to guidelines for our logistics service providers. 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with logistics suppliers to ensure vehicle logistics contributes to Fisker’s sustainability targets
  • Set up guidelines for our European Logistics Service Providers
  • Set up and maintain Fisker’s vehicle tracking software and the integration into our global ERP system
  • Work with IT to maintain incorporated data in the systems correctly
  • Build efficient (automated) reporting structures on the finished vehicle logistics supply chain incl. manual data processing & maintenance
  • Interpret data on logistics elements such as availability, reliability, supply chain management and provider’s information
  • Support the audit and processing of invoices in a timely manner
  • Provide ongoing analyses in areas such as transportation costs, delivery processes, etc.
  • Ensure all logistics operations are properly insured, matching local liability requirements
  • Assist with Special Moves Administration
  • Cross-function to deliver on European specific necessities to be integrated into global lead functions: Vehicle tracking software & ERP integration (Suresh Gajula), Transport & Storage Insurance (Matt Riley), Logistics sustainability (Patrick Newsom), Logistics guidelines to service providers (Carey Gammon), invoice auditing (Ashita Gupta/Kim Buhl)

Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

  • Degree in Economics or Engineering with a focus on Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Sustainability; or an apprenticeship (Ausbildung) in the logistics sector (e.g. Kaufmann/Kauffrau für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistungen)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills in German and English;  other European languages are a plus
  • Prior experience (1-4 years) of working in a logistics/supply chain/ transportation function within the automotive or manufacturing environment with comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes
  • Knowledge of principles for moving vehicles by rail, road and sea
  • IT systems experience and knowledge on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) as well as customer data systems
  • Knowledge of insurance or technical regulations related to logistics such as import/export and customs regulations, including legal requirements is a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills along with good utilization of MS Office
  • Well organized, strong attention to detail, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a proactive mindset
