Lead Specialist - Digital Marketing

The Lead Specialist, Digital Marketing will be a key resource for the marketing organization. This role will implement the strategy, monitor, and track the performance of Sunoco’s digital portfolio. The portfolio includes web assets such as Sunoco.com and SunocoLP.com, digital marketing, display ads and other digital assets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to come up with strategies and tactics to support key initiatives which can be rolled out on time and budget
  • Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performances across various digital platforms to optimize campaigns
  • Play a key role in building and optimizing our brand presence across our digital channels: Sunoco.com, SunocoLP.com websites, landing pages, partner sites, email campaigns and other online content
  • Own Google analytics, and other analytics platforms, monitoring tracking, attribution and ensuring appropriate measurements are in place
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, campaigns and programs simultaneously while ensuring on-time delivery and meeting deadlines
  • Effectively engage and manage agency resources and external partners in the development and execution of digital programs

Education and/or Experience

  • 8 – 10 years of experience in digital marketing with experience in PPC, SEO, social, web, email, customer segmentation and analytics
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field required
  • Experience in B2C and B2B marketing preferred
  • Experience working with agencies and driving performance

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, display advertising and paid social (FB, LinkedIn, Instagram)
  • Versed in digital reporting/monitoring tools such as Google analytics
  • Solid knowledge in HTML, website tagging and pixel implementation and proficiency in Google Tag Manager
  • Marketing and sales funnel analysis and executive level reporting experience
  • Sound knowledge of the digital landscape and a passion for data and analytics
  • Intermediate knowledge in Adobe creative suite – Photoshop and Illustrator preferred
  • Possess a can-do attitude with curiosity to learn new skills and take initiatives to be involved in ad-hoc projects
  • An eye for detail and ability to juggle competing tasks calmly and manage stakeholders expectations
  • A great communicator and team player

Working Conditions

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
