- You must have completed or be part way through NVQ 2 in something motor related. I.e. Automotive Maintenance, Motorsport, Bikes Maintenance etc. Clearly someone that has just completed an NVQ 3 would be of great interest to us.

Description
We are a busy family run independent specialist workshop, with a vacant position for a junior technician. We aren't just a typical garage we also provide: Race Prep, Tuning on our Rolling Road, Fabrication and Electronics services.
Unlike backstreet garages we are offering you a chance to specialise in BMW, Mini, Maserati and performance vehicles. We perform like for like services as the dealer. We want a junior technician that can take pride in themselves and in their work.
Every possible assistance will be given to you completing your NVQ3 and for those moving on from an NVQ3 a stable work environment where you can develop your skills.
Being a family business we want the right candidate for our business. And you need to be someone that has the right work ethnic and is capable of following instructions.
We aren't a main dealer but a small family run business with a laid back ethos. Don't worry if you aren't a BMW or MINI expert give it a six months and you will be. You need to be someone with a passion for cars and can take pride from seeing a happy customer.
About you
- You MUST be part way through or already have completed NVQ 2 in something Automotive related.
- Ideally you would have an NVQ 3 in something Automotive Related
- You should be able to perform a vehicle service using a service schedule
- You should be able to carry out mechanical fitting tasks
- You should be able to retain knowledge
- You should be interested in how things work and learning to diagnose faults accurately, no matter if you cannot now, just the will to learn to diagnose is needed, we will show you the rest.
- You must be able to follow instructions and keen to learn
- You should have at least SOME of your own tools and toolbox
