The position:
We are currently seeking a talented commercial lawyer to join our legal team as a Junior Legal Counsel.
This is a key role where the successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for a wide range of issues relating to the Formula 1 business.
The role will be varied and will appeal to candidates who are pro-active, think commercially and can operate effectively across the business including advising members of senior management on important legal matters.
Up to 2 years PQE.
As a Junior Legal Counsel, you will be:
- Drafting, negotiating and advising on a variety of commercial contracts including sponsorship and licensing agreements, supply and purchase agreements, commission agreements and non-disclosure agreements;
- Providing general legal advice and support to the business and its support functions including IT, HR, Procurement, Facilities and Communications; and
- Assisting in employment-related legal matters, including preparing and negotiating service agreements, settlement agreements, policies and other employment-related documentation.
The successful candidate will be a commercial lawyer with experience of dealing with data protection and, ideally, employment issues. A fluent communicator, with a highly analytical approach and strong attention to detail, the successful candidate will have the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and work robustly under pressure.
