We have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Finance Analyst to join our team. This role is key in supporting the Finance team on their journey to becoming a World Class Finance function. The role will support the team to implement and embrace new technologies that deliver efficient and compliant processes, and to provide valuable analysis and insight to stakeholders.
Job responsibilities:

Provide proactive support to the Finance Department in relation to finance systems and processes

Establish and produce appropriate analysis, insight and reporting for area of responsibility

Understand and support SAP and other finance systems within area of responsibility, becoming key user contact where required

Support Finance projects as needed

Prioritise tasks to deliver incremental improvements alongside larger projects

Provide support for master data ownership and control

Promote best practice within Finance team in respect of processes

Support with routine system testing to support compliant finance processes
Candidate profile

Minimum 2:1 in a Finance-related degree

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

SAP user experience or experience of other financial/reporting systems

Experience in a Finance role with knowledge of processes, systems and internal controls

Ability to analyse and continually look for ways to improve processes and systems

Passionate about implementing change and effectively work with multiple stakeholders to make ways of working more efficient

Ability to identify innovative yet practical solutions to problems and get buy in from peers

An effective communicator that can understand and simplify information across various areas within Finance

Aptitude for embracing new and current technology
