Junior Developer

Duties / Responsibilities (Including Objectives of the role):

To support Lotus’ business process platform design, development and optimisation.

The key responsibilities and key accountabilities of the role.

  •  Build business solutions from requirements & user stories, using low code applications, such as K2 and SharePoint
  • Develop workflows that integrate processes across the business, using various business systems
  • Participate in review meetings and provide updates on requirements, design, test cases etc.
  • Develop and carry out test plans 
  • Configure, model and troubleshoot data integration points of business systems and complementary technologies
  • Consider system design and the application roadmap, make recommendations and implement in order to leverage the applications
  • Optimise the application by building foundational objects
  • Provide 2nd line support to business users
  • Enable the service desk to provide appropriate 1st line support
  • Carry out user experience analysis, make recommendations and implement when agreed

Qualifications and Experience (Essential & Desirable criteria)

Knowledge 
Consider experiences, any formal qualifications genuinely necessary or key areas of knowledge 

  • General computer literacy 
  • Any experience in high-level or drag-and-drop application development, such as VB, script, Touch or Scratch
  • Basic understanding of simple databases or tables 
  • Experience of configuring on Business Process Management systems and working with businesses to optimise processes 
  • Experience with K2 5.3 (Smartforms) or a similar BPM platform 
  • Sharepoint development/configuration 
  • Database development, such as SQL/MySQL
