IT Business Systems Analyst/Programmer

About this Opportunity:
AMSOIL, INC., located in Superior, Wis. is looking for an IT Business Systems Analyst.  This role is responsible for working with stakeholders to analyze, enhance, develop and maintain business applications according to the organization’s requirements.  In addition, this person works to solve operational problems and ensure the effective use of the business applications while meeting the established business strategies and standards.  

Requirements/Expectations:
Responsible for analyzing, enhancing, developing, modifying, and testing business applications to meet business requirements. 
Analyzes systems to define alternative solutions and functional specifications to solve system related issues.
Works with users to support business applications and investigate operational problems or system requirements. 
Works to enhance the effective use of business systems and define solutions that are consistent with business strategies and standards. 
Provides primary analysis and programming support to modify external software packages to meet business requirements.
Provides programming support and maintenance of existing systems. 
Provides data integrity methods, to ensure consistent, accurate & efficient use of data across the business applications.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related computer field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in related field
  • Proven experience working with Microsoft Data Technologies including SQL Database Server (i.e. T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, SSIS, SSRS and SharePoint)
  • Experience in the design, development and implementation of software solutions, systems or products
  • Experience working with CRM systems, Microsoft Dynamics preferred
  • Experience working with ERP systems; EnterpriseOne (JD Edwards) preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Highly self-motivated and directed

Preferred:

  • Practical knowledge in importing data for use in reporting software, spreadsheets, graphs and flow charts
  • Solid understanding of data integrity
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both a technical and user-friendly language
  • High level of business insight along with process and business application knowledge
  • Logical and efficient
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute task in a high- pressure environment
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Proven success working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
