Position: - iOS Developer

Job Summary:

This position is a key member of Fisker’s core software team and will be responsible for short development cycles and frequent updates to public-facing mobile applications. This position should have a good understanding of mobile applications development.

Essential Functions:

  • Designs and implements iOS mobile applications.

  • Performs application development, unit testing, support to QA, and production support

  • Provides and adheres to best practices for Android mobile application development

  • Develops/maintains build systems, tools, and reusable components

  • Gathers functional requirements to generate technical design specifications and build mobile applications

  • Other duties as required

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Design or a directly related field from an accredited college or university

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experienced iOS developer with 4+ years experience with XCODE and  SWIFT

  • Experience with SwiftUI and Combine

  • Exposure to iOS Framework development

  • Experience building modular applications, and understanding of modular clean architecture

  • Basic understanding of mobile application CI/CD

  • Worked on at least one publicly available app (please provide link to the app(s) via Apple App Store)

  • Expertise in object-oriented design data structures algorithm design problem solving complexity analysis and debugging

  • Expertise in architecture/design/develop highly performant iOS applications

  • Knowledge of SQLite MySQL or similar database management system

  • Experience with web service integration (REST JSON XML)

  • Experience of development using web technologies
