Role Overview

As the Insurance Products Manager you will develop and implement consumer insurance applications to contribute to a positive purchase and ownership experience with the Fisker brand. The primary focus of this role is to drive consumer insurance options for Fisker owners.  You will be responsible for the strategy, implementation, and optimization of insurance options for our owners.  

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies for Fisker insurance product offering, policies, and processes to successfully manage the planning and delivery of solutions that enable Fisker to meet its business objectives.
  • Provide best practices and tools for insurance and ancillary product offerings.
  • Initiate and lead projects from end to end, working with insurance providers and collaborating across the organization to deliver a seamless, customer centric solution 
  • Forecasting insurance take rates and profitability
  • Develop, track, and monitor KPI’s for insurance premiums
  • Forecasting of depreciation, repair costs, and other vehicle insurability factors
  • Responsible for project communications, identification of issues/risks and escalation of critical issues to senior leaders and cross functional teams.  Provides recommendations and/or solutions for identified issues.
  • Oversee Insurance training and support for Fisker associates
  • Creating and maintaining yearly sales targets for Fisker insurance products.
  • Develop a comprehensive menu selling process to help maximize overall profitability and product penetration
  • Continue to seek professional growth as well as increase your knowledge in insurance products and services. 

Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in consumer facing insurance, preferably at an automotive OEM or insurance company
  • OEM or insurance company experience desired and outstanding sales support skills, with proven record in delivering sales objectives to meet or exceed set targets 
  • Capacity to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, at all levels
  • Proficient in selling insurance products, preferably in the automotive space
  • Demonstrate complete commitment to supporting the sales organization in achieving its goals
  • Evidence of formalized insurance training preferred
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented 
  • Creative, strategic thinker 
  • Problem solver, quick solution finder
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while striving for excellence
  • Able to effectively work with numerous departments and working styles and eager to develop a clear understanding of how to present and share information across the different teams
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents
