Honda Performance Development, Inc., a leader in motorsports racing, is seeking a highly organized and skilled Industrial Engineer contingent for its Santa Clarita, California (North Los Angeles County) location.
Responsibilities include assisting in planning, and coordination of project activities and resources for projects between internal departments and divisions. These projects may involve the implementation of a combination of Software and Hardware. Organizing, tracking, and managing follow ups on engineering assignments, reports, and posting/entry of date to database. Assist in creating project plans including summary of responsibilities, follow up on project timelines and milestones. Updating project scope changes and project documentation. Schedule and prepare meeting agendas and meeting notes. Work closely with the Development Manager and team members to ensure projects are completed on time.
Requirements: AA or BS degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical) or Computer Science degree or Business Administration degree (preferred) with 3+ years job experience with project management or at executive assistant level. Must have strong and effective communication skills. Thrive in a high-demand, fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Able to multi-task with the highest level of quality and efficiency; Strong problem solving and organization will be key in this role.
