Job Description

Sebring International Raceway seeks a Staff Accountant, responsible for providing accounting support to accounting supervisor. Process invoices for accounts receivables and payables; ensures files are complete and maintained as needed, handles accounts payable duties, and assists with other accounting or clerical duties as needed.  

No travel required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Sort incoming invoices and payments.
  • Process credit card payments
  • Compile Accounts Receivable payments received for processing into Great Plains.
  • Prepare ticket sales invoices and daily deposits.
  • Prepare, scan and enter invoices for Accounts Payable processing.
  • Create invoices for Accounts Receivable
  • File A/R and A /P invoices accordingly.
  • Answer calls and respond to inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
  • Report and communicate with IT regarding Accounting system issues.
  • Prepare Monthly Fuel Purchase reconciliation (accounting for tenant purchased deliveries and usage)
  • Prepare Monthly Fuel Cost of Goods Sold analysis (Fuel Farm Reporting)
  • Reconcile Corporate Credit Card purchases and account for all receipts.
  • Monthly invoicing of all rental properties as well as any special invoices requested
  • Manage Purchase Order Log
  • Ensure all invoices for monthly recurring services or expenses that are recorded on Purchase Orders are received or accrued at Month End.
  • Monthly past due payment reminders based up Accounts Receivable Aging report
  • Prepare General Ledger Account Reconciliations and other Account Analysis for projects, budgets, etc.
  • Provide backup for receptionist, when needed.
  • Provide information and answer questions regarding the track and/or upcoming events, when answering phones.
  • Receive and process event ticket orders over the phone and with walk-in customers.

Qualifications

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
