Hydraulics Mechanic

In this role you will be responsible for car’s hydraulic assemblies first preparation, testing support and overhaul.

WORK WITH TEST AND RACE TEAM AS PART OF A MECHANICS CREW CLOSELY WITH THE TEAMS CHIEF MECHANIC AND ENGINEERING STAFF.

  • TO WORK ON ASSEMBLIES RETURNED FROM THE TRACK FOLLOWING SERVICE SCHEDULE PREPARED BY THE ASSEMBLY MANAGER: UNBOXING, CLEANING, SERVICING, AND PREPARING THEM FOR THE NEXT SHIPMENT.
  • ENSURE THAT FACTORY PROCEDURES (BUILD, STRIP, SERVICE, BOXING, HANDLING PROCEDURES) ARE ALWAYS FOLLOWED AND RESPECTED.
  • COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY WITH THE OTHER DEPARTMENTS.
  • EXECUTE THE DAY-TO-DAY TASKS, PROVIDING FEEDBACK TO HIS DIRECT MANAGER.
  • TO MAINTAIN AND DEVELOP GOOD RELATIONSHIPS WITH COLLEAGUES & OTHER DEPARTMENTS.
  • PROVIDE FLEXIBLE ATTENDANCE AND ATTITUDE TO WORK, BOTH IN LINE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE AND ANY SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OF THE PROJECTS.
  • Always work in a professional manner regardless of the task set and be pro-active in promoting a positive image for the department/team/sponsors.

 

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

 

  • Automotive experience as mechanic, ideally in motorsport.
  • Preferrable mechanical experience with hydraulic components.
  • Ability to modulate his own work rhythm to rapidly changing situation and targets.
  • Ability to scope all tasks thoroughly.
  • Deliver timely information and reporting (delivering to deadlines set on the job list and keeping on top of communication).
  • Initiative and Innovation.
  • Ability to work with the team, external suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Italian language is a must, English is highly recommended.
  • Travel up to 75%
