Growth Marketing Manager

The Growth Marketing Manager is a brand new role dedicated to help Codemasters grow our player base through paid digital acquisition, retention and referral. Located at our Southam HQ, however we are open to remote based working, this role would suit an analytical, ambitious performance marketing or growth specialist with a good foundation of experience looking to move into an entrepreneurial role in a fast moving environment.

The Codemasters sales & marketing team is a passionate and growing, multi-discipline team spanning marketing, product, communications, growth, creative services, operations and sales, who are dedicated to spreading the message about our world class games to a global audience of gamers and motorsports fans. As part of the sales & marketing team you will be at the interface between our award-winning development teams, our players and our customers, shaping our product roadmap, setting global go to market strategy, leading global communications, managing digital distribution and steering our sales and marketing partnerships around the globe.

  • Achieving sustainable, scalable CPA targets across digital product lifecycles.
  • YOY digital revenue growth, pre-orders, retail consideration and sell through.
  • High ROI social channel growth.
  • Key marketing and sales decision making consistently informed by growth marketing insights.

Responsibilities

  • Manage performance marketing for new releases and back catalogue including but not limited to SEO, SEM, paid and organic social, paid digital, retargeting, email, referral and affiliate marketing both directly and through managed agencies.
  • Own the organisation and reporting of performance marketing campaign data.
  • Drive the definition, execution, analysis and iteration of growth marketing experiments.
  • Partner with product marketing and live services on defining, developing and implementing growth marketing tools into products, services and websites.

What we need from you

  • Experience managing performance marketing and/ or growth marketing strategy and execution, including but not limited to programmatic, paid social, paid search, digital display and You Tube.
  • Experience with global campaign set ups on leading platforms including Facebook, Google Ads and Twitter.
  • Experience managing agencies.
  • Experience working with editorial and content teams of amplifying organic content and growing communities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work to meet specific deadlines.
  • Highly organised and self-starting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for games, gaming culture, motorsports and/ or automotive culture a plus.
