Graphic Designer Intern

Your Responsibilities

The key objective of this internship position is to gain corporate experience within an internationally operating automotive aftermarket business. The intern will be exposed to national and international marketing strategies for a highly recognized consumer brand.

  • Create a variety of print marketing collateral to include print ads, flyers, brochures, trade show graphics, etc. using Adobe Creative Suite Tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Develop digital content (graphics, videos, photos, banners) for social media, website, email newsletters, PPT, digital ads, etc.
  • Stage, photograph and post process product photos for use on website, social, print, etc.
  • Occasional travel to automotive events
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Maintain a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace. Advocate for and promotes a safe work environment by reporting Near Misses and/or other safety and environmental hazards, wearing all required PPE and encouraging others to do the same.
  • Ensure compliance and safety of all activities within the organization standards and policies.
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Your Profile

  • Passion for the automotive industry, preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong emphasis on grammar
  • Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
  • Highly organized with ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Exhibit integrity through fair and ethical behaviors in all activities; maintain accountability for performance
  • Strong attention to detail with well-developed organizational and communication skills
  • Some travel required
  • This is an Internship (temporary role) for 30 hours per week
  • Duration is 6 months to a year
