To support the growth of the team, we have exciting opportunities at Aston Martin formula 1 Team for a Graduate Design Engineer within our Aerodynamics department.
This is an incredibly fast paced and varied design role that requires you to work on the construction of CAD concept surfaces, wind tunnel model and mechanical projects.
Working from within our Aerodynamic Development group, you will be responsible for the following;
- Delivering a wide variety of designs and progressing these designs into component form and fitment onto our wind tunnel model for subsequent testing.
- You will make a direct contribution to our development and performance with your successful designs forming a key part of our continued successful progress.
- Successful candidates will possess exceptional communication and organisational skills whilst also being dynamic and above all flexible.
- You will be able to demonstrate excellent theoretical mechanical engineering knowledge

- Strong communicator with excellent organisational skills.
- Be highly creative with a dynamic and original approach to problem solving.
- Be able to progress multiple concurrent projects.
- Good understanding of additive manufacturing techniques

All Applicants must have:
- Excellent degree level qualifications in Mechanical, Automotive or Motorsports Engineering.
- Possess up to three years relevant workplace experience in either Motorsports, Product, Industrial, Automotive or Mechanical design.
- Good understanding of DFM/DFA/FMEA including knowledge of GD & T.
