ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM
The Global Manager, Client Research and Analytics (you!) will be a critical addition within the Global Sales Enablement team. You will be responsible for helping the company rapidly grow its direct and programmatic revenue by developing client and product level reporting and analysis. This individual will be responsible for centralizing our data in a global database and creating the reporting and insights the organization needs to demonstrate its value to its clients.This role also owns the management and evolution of our data across multiple properties and countries, working with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure our salespeople, clients and leadership has the information it needs to delight our clients and manage our business better. This leader will leverage global resources such as the Technology and Development teams to implement its recommendations.

The ideal candidate has a very strong data analysis, insights and architecture background, preferably from the media industry.The ideal candidate is not only a spreadsheet or database wizard, but someone who organize the data in the right systems, develop the reporting and automation needed to then extract valuable insights from it. This person is a solutions-oriented problem-solver who eager to roll up their sleeves to get to the right answer or resolve an issue and is focused on performance driven outcomes for our clients. As this individual proves his/her value to the organization, s/he will be able to build a global team to support the needs of our local markets and divisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and centralize the data sources used to demonstrate our value to our clients.
  • Work with cross functional leadership in sales, product, tech, finance and marketing.
  • Build data structures and reporting to maximize business intelligence and value demonstration
  • Extract valuable insights from the data to feed to our clients, salespeople and leadership
  • Exhibits leadership skills to identify, hire, and nurture talent and provide development guidance and career planning for each individual team member.
  • Establish systems, processes and policies to ensure flawless execution and customer success.
  • Push for continuous and rapid improvement.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE

  • BS/BA or equivalent in data science, marketing research, marketing, business, technology or other related field. MBA a plus.
  • 5+ years experience of analytics leadership experience at a media company, with deep expertise in digital media forms.
  • A love for data visualization and bringing data to life through insights and graphics.
  • Success hiring, developing and building high performing teams, processes, systems, and policies.
  • Deep knowledge of database management, media reporting systems (such as order management systems, Google Ad Manager, SSP’s, etc.)
  • Enthusiastic, professional demeanor and experience working in a client-oriented setting (internal or external)
  • A love of numbers and data, but the communication skills to connect with others and help them articulate them.
