General Labor

Seasonal Position: March - November

Maintenance of track grounds, buildings, structures and equipment to insure proper upkeep. A smooth running, well-maintained and clean track and grounds is this employees main concern.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Mowing grounds either by hand or riding lawnmower
  • Landscaping maintenance; weeding, trimming shrubs and trees
  • Trash collection and grounds cleanup during and after events
  • Basic vehicle and equipment maintenance
  • Event set-up
  • Painting and work on various projects
  • Operate various types of equipment including forklift, man lifts, front end loader, tractor, air compressor, concrete saws and drills, hand and power tools with an understanding of the equipment being operated and associated controls and safety precautions
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work areas and performs all duties in compliance with Summit Motorsports Park guidelines and requirements

  • Ability to adapt to the changing needs of the Park Services Department
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting
  • Ability to work various shifts/days - evenings, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. Shift hours can exceed 12 hours on Event Days
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test
  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references
