Gaming Licensing Manager

About The Role

Our team of hundreds of skilled experts keep Formula 1 moving. You could play a vital part as a Gaming Licensing Manager to work alongside the wider Gaming & Esports team to drive commercial upside and fan engagement for Formula 1. This will involve refreshing the gaming and licensing strategies that meet these objectives and turn the area into a key revenue stream for the business and is compelling to fans, media platforms and commercial partners.

Role responsibilities:

  • Work with Licensing and Gaming team on upweighted commercial deals.
  • Manage key partners such as EA Sports.
  • Work with the Marketing team to design and implement marketing and creative campaigns, tracking and monitoring their performance and success.
  • Work with Marketing to determine the optimal campaign plans for game and competition launches.
  • Maximise opportunities for cross-department revenue generation working closely with the other Commercial departments.
  • Deliver constant updates and comprehensive data analysis to support the functioning of the core business revenue functions.
  • Work with brand and trademarks teams on asset, feature, and content approvals.
  • Work with legal team to define and manage rights of existing and prospective gaming partners.
  • Remain up to date with the latest gaming and esports industry developments and best practices.

Experience:

  • Relevant video games / licensing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Excellent people skills with a high level of empathy and the ability to engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization with other internal departments
  • Good analytical skills and comfortable dealing with data and analysis
