FP&A Analyst

The position:

We are looking to recruit an ambitious FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will suit a dynamic and progressive professional who is looking to develop their FP&A career managing the budget and forecast process for the whole business, responsible for providing financial analysis and cash flow forecasts as part of the monthly reporting process.

The role:

In this strategic role, you will drive ongoing improvement within Finance, including the development of the reporting systems and integration with other reporting tools (such as Power BI) and working across the wider finance team to support and deliver process improvements.

Responsibilities:

Manage the annual budget and quarterly forecast process
Collaborate with the Finance Business Partnering Team to create a financial view for the whole business, developing and maintaining financial models
Support the Finance Director and other stakeholders as required
Complete month-end processes to maintain and report the monthly cashflow forecasts
Prepare monthly board reports
Build and maintain financial models, reports, and dashboards to improve the consistency of financial planning and reporting
Collate and prepare relevant information to support Treasury management activity
Challenge the results and forecasts to identify risks and opportunities and provide insight into the business performance
Ad hoc analysis including scenario and sensitivity analysis to support the business needs

Core Skills:

Ability to analyse large data sets and build robust scenario based models and reports.
Strong communication skills to present findings to all levels of the business

Skills and Experience

Qualified Accountant – CIMA or equivalent
Strong academic record
Demonstrable experience in reporting, analysis and cash flow management
Experience working with other teams to deliver key tasks
