To expand our R&D department we are looking for a full-time Firmware Developer (m/w)
Your responsibilities
- Developing new products from initial idea to final product
- Firmware development aligned with electronic engineers and other products within the FANATEC ecosystem
- Contribute to product specifications in proper written requirements and goal descriptions
- Generating firmware and bootloader applications during and after project phases including introduction of new product features, motor control optimization
- Contribute to electronic components evaluation
- Issue tracking and solving in coordination with project management and customer support
Your qualifications
- Degree of technical engineering (CCI) or electronical engineer with diploma or similar
- Minimum two years experience in development of microcontroller firmware
- Good knowledge in C / C++ programming for microcontrollers (PIC, A.R.M.)
- Knowledge about communication systems (USB, CAN)
- Knowledge in motor control (DC, PMSM)
- Good ability to make written product specifications and requirements
- Good ability to read, write and speak in English and German
- Good skills in MS Office, especially Outlook
- Talented in communication and organization, sense of responsibility, ambitious and goal-oriented
