Ferrari F1 Team / Aerodynamics Experimental Engineer

We are looking for a talented, and highly motivated, Aerodynamics Experimental Engineer to join the aerodynamics team at the Ferrari Formula 1 team offices in Maranello (Italy). 
This role requires you to be part of Aero Experimental group, which includes both Wind Tunnel and Track Aerodynamic testing activities.
You will work on the planning, preparation and analysis of wind tunnel tests, and likewise work with the aero track-testing team. As a result, you will focus on improving testing efficiency, testing quality and ultimately the race car performance, based on your fundamental understanding of flow structures. And your key ingredient will be the car development rate from an Aero point of view.

Desired Skills and Experience

For this demanding role in Aerodynamics, we are looking for an engineer with prior dedicated wind tunnel and testing experience.
You will be a graduate, having completed your Masters’ degree in Automotive/Aerodynamic Engineering, and as a result you have solid understanding of car aerodynamics – and ideally including racing vehicles.
And you will furthermore bring at least 2 years’ (or more) experience gained in Wind Tunnel testing environment, as well as in experimental areas, aerodynamic data analysis and development of car aerodynamics. Knowledge of CFD analysis, Matlab, Visual Basic and Python is considered is a plus.
In Ferrari we expect you to enjoy working as part of a team, to be flexible and dedicated in order to maximize and deliver results and meet the deadlines. Excellent communication skills and good interpersonal attitude are a must. Fluency in English is a must-have, and a good level of Italian an advantage for full integration.
