Red Bull Advanced Technologies is currently seeking an FEA Engineer to contribute to the structural analysis of a variety of exciting projects, including the ground-breaking hypercar; AM-RB 001- Valkyrie.
The FEA Engineer will be expected to analyse and optimise Composite and Metallic structures, using a mix of Finite Element Analysis backed up by classical hand calculations.
This is a junior – mid level role. If required, on-the-job training may be available to support the successful applicant, who should have the following attributes:
- An engineering degree in a relevant discipline
- Industrial working experience in an engineering role.
- Knowledge of mechanics of materials.
- Previous experience using commercial FEA software, preferably Abaqus and ANSA
- Ability to perform classical ‘hand’ calculations.
- The ability to understand complex concepts and learn quickly.
- Attention to detail, commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
