At M-Sport we are dedicated to supporting motorsport manufacturing and customer programmes spread across a variety of National and International Rally and Race series on a vast range of stages and circuits in the most acclaimed motorsport championships.
The drive to deliver World Championship winning rally and race cars is what excites and strengthens our engineers. The core to our continuing success starts with you having influences during the procedures of all our vehicles. Starting with the concept phase to original designs, to running test programmes and defining the key to enhance maximum performance.
With 2023 quickly approaching, we are actively recruiting for an Event Engineer to join our busy programmes for next season.
Duties will include:

Lead whole car engineering and performance activities on tests and events.

Defining and delivering vehicle running procedures and delivering efficient running with M-Sport’s different specifications of cars.

Helping drive an integrated and collaborative approach to improving performance aspects, including identifying and resolving technical issues.

Assisting M-Sport’s customer base with production of technical literature, bulletins and presentations.
The ideal candidate should:

Be educated to degree level in motorsport / automotive engineering.

Have excellent interpersonal, relationship building skills and capable of offering a professional image at all times.

Have experience and knowledge of data logging and analysis software.

Have a thorough understanding of motor vehicles and their systems.

Have a strong analytical approach and a meticulous attention to detail.

Be able to produce professional technical customer facing documents.

Be well organised and delivery focused.

Have a mimimum of 3 year' experience within the motorsport / automotive industry.
Experience in a similar race or rally setting would be an advantage. The role would suit a self-motivated team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. Experience of leading a small team would be beneficial although not essential. A flexible approach to working hours is required and extensive world travel involved.
