ERP Systems Support

Operative, Business Systems

Purpose of the Role:

Provide first line support for our Business Systems, inclusive of our ERP system, our trackside reliability system, lifing system and production applications.

Role Dimensions:

Working closely with the Business Systems team and existing Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to provide an effective first line support structure.

Principal Accountabilities: 

  • To correct systematic data issues and deliver system support across the Production team. 

  • Collaborate with the Javelin User Base & Production work centres to ensure the team is working efficiently. 

  • Identify and fix data and coding issues where possible, escalating larger scale issues to Business Systems colleagues 

  • Support and maintain user notes, guidelines and technical documentation. 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience: 

  • Business domain experience; especially in a Production and Parts stock control or equivalent is a prerequisite for this role. 

  • Experience of MRP/ERP systems, ideally Javelin 

  • Able to communicate effectively with technical (I.T.) and non-technical staff 

  • Proven ability to extract, manipulate and analyse SQL data 

  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member 

  • Ability to study real world problems and identify effective technical solutions 

  • Understanding of MS Windows platform and MS Office products (Excel)
