As a wholly-owned subsidiary of M-Tec Co Ltd, of Tokyo, Japan, Mugen Euro Co. Ltd is the European outlet focussed on Motorsport projects, specialising in engine development.
We require a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as an Engine Test & Calibration Engineer, where you will be required to test and calibrate motorcycle and racing car engines to the highest standard.
Candidate qualities:
- Have experience in operation of an engine dyno or similar experience, ideally with direct motorsport and
- high-performance engine test experience.
- Have experience of operation of various engine control units.
- Highly motivated with a conscientious attitude and a passion for detail.
- Knowledge in the use of engine test and calibration equipment.
- Able to work consistently to procedures.
- Able to work unaided and self-managed as part of a small team.
- Able to work in the UK and travel abroad, if necessary, with no restrictions.
- Within daily commutable distance of Milton Keynes.
- Capable to follow and help develop detailed engine test processes.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office and Windows 10 and computer systems.
Principle accountabilities:

Support activities in the testing of competition racing engines for motorcycles and cars.

Prepare engines to be tested on our in-house AC-motor dyno test bed with the help of engine build staff.

Learn and follow existing test processes, along with develop and help propose new work efficient processes.

Maintain the cleanliness, precision and standards within the engine test area.

Provide concise and considered feedback to all departments within the company to further develop the quality of work.

Parts management and organisation.

Liaison with key associates and clients in Japan and rest of the World.
