At M-Sport, we are dedicated to supporting motorsport manufacturing and customer programmes spread across a variety of National and International rally and race series on a vast range of stages and circuits in the most acclaimed motorsport championships. Based at the historic Dovenby Hall Estate on the doorstep to the Lake District, our team of highly skilled Technicians and Engineers work closely together through each step, from design, to build and manufacturing, and then running our elite competition cars.
An opportunity has arisen for an Engine Builder to join our team. Required immediately to support our busy programmes.
Duties will include:
· Re-prep and maintenance on current Rally/ Race programmes.
· Pre-production of key engine components.
· Build and rebuilds of current Rally/Race programmes, including Rally2, Rally1, Bentley GT3 and BTCC Toca engines.
· Event Engine support.
· Build record keeping.
The ideal candidate should:
· Be educated to a good technician level.
· Have an enthusiastic and competitive attitude.
· Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.
· Have excellent communication skills.
· Have an analytical approach to problem solving.
The role requires a consistently high level of performance and quality in a highly pressurised and time sensitive environment. The role would suit a self-motivated team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. A flexible approach to working hours is required.
