Within our facility in Enstone, we are looking to hire the most talented individuals to support our mission. As part of this team, we are looking for an Electronics Track Support Engineer to join our Race Support Team.
Electronics Track Support Engineer – The Role
Reporting to the Race Support Team Manager, this role will oversee all operation, diagnosis and support of all electronic systems and equipment used on the Race Support Team.
Key accountabilities are:
- Preparation of electrical equipment prior to tests, races or demonstrations
- On-car sensor and wiring loom installation, and system electrical checks
- Updating configuration of on-car electrical system during event (including fire-ups)
- Monitoring of on-car electrical system during event (including fire-ups)
- Maintenance/service of electronic systems and wiring fitted to the car
- Control of quantity and quality of all electrical spares
- Providing timely and accurate info to Lifing Coordinator on part usage
- Build and maintenance of all electrical and electronic pit equipment required to run the car
- Set-up and diagnosis of garage wiring and circuit services
- Clear communication to Track Support Team Leader of all system reliability and performance issues
- Support to Electronics Production Department if required
- Ensuring company information systems are accurate and up to date
- Support/Set up RST radio/communication systems
Electronics Track Support Engineer – The Person
The successful candidate will have extensive electronics and control systems experience, preferably in a motorsport environment. They will be highly organised, an excellent team player with a passion for working for a team with championship winning ambitions.
