Led by racing legend Michael Andretti, the team fields multiple entries in INDYCAR, INDY NXT, IMSA and Formula E. The global racing enterprise boasts over 250 race wins, four INDYCAR Series championships, five INDY NXT titles, one Indy Pro 2000 and one USF2000 championship, and has captured victory five times at the famed Indianapolis 500-Mile Race. The team is now looking to expand into the pinnacle of motorsport through our Andretti Cadillac Team.
Job description:
We have an opportunity for an Electronics Coordinator to join the Andretti Cadillac Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role you will be responsible for the coordination of electronic components and assemblies across their entire life cycle, including BoM management, production planning, part lifing, servicing and allocation. Principal Accountabilities:
- Coordination of the electrical area of the Bill of Materials, capturing engineering change whilst ensuring design standards are respected and data accuracy is maintained.
- Collaboration with purchasing team to ensure materials and parts are available to support electrical manufacturing.
- Management of electronic component allocation across the business, including definition of life limits.
- Management of internal and external servicing requirements of electronic components.
- Supporting the Electronics Technicians with the manufacture of electrical components when necessary.
Requirements
- Educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline or similar.
- Proven track record in creating and management of complex BOM's within a design and manufacturing environment.
- MRP/ERP system experience.
- Ability to create wiring systems using Raychem products and motorsport connectors.
- IPC-A-610 and IPC-620 (Class 3) certification would be advantageous.
- Ability to plan and manage own workloads.
- Clear and concise communication, verbally and with the use of email.
- Is self-motivated, innovative and capable of working generally unsupervised to challenging deadlines.
- Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
