At M-Sport, we are dedicated to supporting motorsport manufacturing and customer programmes spread across a variety of National and International rally and race series on a vast range of stages and circuits in the most acclaimed motorsport championships. Based at the historic Dovenby Hall Estate on the doorstep to the Lake District, our team of highly skilled Technicians and Engineers work closely together through each step, from design, to build and manufacturing, and then running our elite competition cars.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Technician to work alongside a team of technicians in our busy Electrical Department to manufacture a range of harnesses and sensors across our range of race and rally cars.
Duties will include:

Working alongside our experienced Electrical technicians in the Manufacture and repair of wiring harnesses and sensors using high specification wire and connectors.

Understanding the engineers assembly drawings and operate in line with our quality control standards.
The ideal candidate should:

Have previous experience in an electrical/ electronic assembly environment including crimping and soldering.

Have a level 3 or HNC qualification in Electrical Engineering.

Be well organised and delivery focused, to meet on-time deadlines in a high pressured and time sensitive environment.

Have excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
The role requires a consistently high level of performance and quality in a highly pressurised and time sensitive environment. The role would suit a self-motivated team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. A flexible approach to working hours is required. This position would suit a newly qualified technician or Junior Technician looking to experience working within a global motorsport team.
