Director, Human Resources

NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Director, Human Resources based in our Daytona Beach, Florida office.

This position will lead the Human Resources support function for assigned clients.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Consult with and provide counsel to management and employees on employee relations and performance management issues. 
  • Serves as the point of contact with the business client groups to implement effective Human Resources solutions to business issues, strategies, and initiatives.
  • Make recommendations regarding hiring, disciplining and terminating employees across entire client base.
  • Support HR functional leaders for payroll, recruiting, benefits and wellness, and training and development.

Required skills / experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of Human Resources experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with Workday preferred.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Customer service and people management skills.
  • Highly analytical.
  • Exceptional team and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior follow-through with a high-level of accountability for assigned tasks.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills.
